ALL ORDERS PLACED ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SENDING GIFTS TO HOSPITALS. PATIENTS ARE OFTEN DISCHARGED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING AND WE ARE UNABLE TO REDIRECT THESE DELIVERIES.

ALL DELIVERIES THAT GO TO HOSPITALS ARE RECEIVED BY THEIR MAILING ROOMS FOR SECURITY PPURPOSES. THE GIFT IS THEN BROUGHT TO THE PATIENT BY HOSPITAL STAFF, THIS MAY MEAN AN ADDITIONAL DAY DELAY FOR THESE DELIVERIES AS THEY GO THROUGH THE HOSPITAL'S SYSTEM.
  • Any reference to "next business day delivery service" applys to Metropolitan areas across Australia subject to Australia Post Express Post delivery service areas, from Monday-Friday, to orders received which meet our deadlines above, and is exempt during public holidays, weekends & our peek season such as Christmas as deliveries take longer at this time of year.
  • Next Day delivery does not apply to any Big Bears
  • If you are sending your gift to anwhere outside of a Metropolitan area, and the town is not in a bulit up area, or is a country or rual town, a township off Mainland or a regional area, your gift will take longer to arrive (anywhere up to 3-4 business days & sometimes more during peek times).
     
  • There are no timed deliveries Australia wide.
     
  • Hug In A Box is not responsible for making arrangements for your recipient to be home at time of delivery, and even though we request contact phone numbers for the recipient, the courier, delivery driver or Hug In A Box will not phone the recipient to pre-arrange an agreed delivery time.
     
  • Please ensure all address details are up to date and correct & the receipient's landline and or mobile phone number is supplied. Incorrectly addressed items which require re-direction will incur a further fee. Any gift which is required to be stopped in transit and returned to Hug In A Box for any reason will incur further delivery & admin fees. If a delivery is rejected by the recipient's address, we are able to re-send the goods once they are returned to us however an additional delivery charge will be incurred. We will offer a 50% refund for the product if they do not wish to re-send once the goods have been returned.
     
  • Hug In A Box advises although we use highly reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for a multiplicity of reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot 100% guarantee any delivery according to the quoted delivery schedule, and cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage, or delays by our courier contractors. Sometimes gifts may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control and we do not accept responsibility for these unforeseen circumstances and failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund or for cancellation of an order.
     
  • You must choose the "Signature On Delivery" option if your require a signature for proof of delivery.
  • FOR SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY IT IS A $2.95 ADDITIONAL FEE ON TOP OF OUR $13 FLAT RATE.
  • Disclaimer: The information contained on the website is provided by Hug In A Box in good faith. To the best of our knowledge, the information is accurate and current. All items advertised on the Hug In A Box website are in stock unless otherwise stated. Hug In A Box only use quality products. We reserve the right to substitute products that may be unavailable or out of stock, but guarantees the replacement item will be equal to or greater value than the original item. Hug In A Box uses Ashop Shopping Cart, however we reserve the right to manually charge fees which have not been added by the software, such as software errors & failure to add GST which should be included at the time of the checkout process, or, incorectly chosen delivery fees by the purchaser. All prices are kept as up to date as possible.
     
  • Any reference to "next business day delivery" applys only to orders received which meet our deadlines outlined above and are within the next day delivery postcode range as specified in the delivery details page.

    SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATES

    Specific dates that you would like the gift to be delivered can mostly be accommodated, but please be aware that we are a next business day delivery service. We try to deliver your gift on the day you request however sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. We rely on our couriers to provide prompt delivery however in some circumstances delays may occur. Failure to delivery on a preferred delivery date is not a valid reason for refund or cancellation of an order.

     

    WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

    Sorry, there is no weekend or Public Holiday delivery anywhere in Australia.
     

     

    DELIVERY CONCERNS

    Should you be concerned that your gift has not arrived at the scheduled delivery time, please contact us & we will make every effort to track your gift. Once a gift leaves our office it is in the hands of our couriers, and sometimes delays in delivery occur. Hug In A Box advises although we use highly reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for a multiplicity of reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage. Sometimes your gift may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control and we do not accept responsibility for these unforeseen circumstances and failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund of delivery or for cancellation of an order.

     

    Hug In A Box does not take responsibility for gifts left at addresses where the customer has given "Authority to Leave" the parcel at the address.   Hug In A Box recommends that you do not give "Authority to Leave" on deliveries being delivered to units, townhouses or apartment blocks with shared entrances.

     

    RETURNS OR REFUNDS & REFUND DISCLAIMER:

    Hug In A Box is more than happy to cancel any order placed and issue a full refund with 48 hours notice prior to delivery.

    • Refunds or cancelations of orders are at the owner's discretion and you must have a valid reason - Hug In A Box will not refund if you simply change your mind about your purchase.
    • In the unlikely event that you feel we have not provided a service, or that you feel that there are discrepancies in your order in any way, we will investigate the circumstance and a refund may be issued duly.

    • Hug In A Box will not replace or refund if your hamper disappears or is stolen from the delivery address where you have given "Authority to Leave" on the order.
    • Hug In A Box advises that we will not honour our refund policy and issue any refunds under any circumstance if more than 30 days have lapsed since the date the order was placed.
    • Hug In A Box does our utmost to prevent breakages in transit by safely wrapping glass items in bubble wrap where possible and ensuring goods are safely packaged within each carton. Should your gift be damaged in transit please notify us and return your gift toHug In A Box immediately for inspection. Your gift may be covered by insurance and may be replaced at no cost.
